Our Team.

Our dedicated team of educators brings together a wealth of experience, creativity, and compassion. They take time to really know each child, listening carefully, observing thoughtfully, and planning learning experiences that reflect children’s interests and developmental needs. Each member of our team contributes unique strengths, from supporting emotional wellbeing and language development to fostering independence and curiosity through play and exploration.

Together, our staff create a nurturing community where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn, building the foundations for a lifelong love of discovery and learning. Our educators work collaboratively, modelling empathy, respect, and teamwork, skills they help embed in the children every day.

Pips (Birth - Walking)

Our Pips room provides a calm, nurturing space where our youngest children can begin their journey of discovery. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we see even our smallest learners as capable and curious, exploring the world through touch, sound, and movement. Caring educators form strong, trusting relationships with each child, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and ready to explore at their own pace.

Seedlings (Walking - 2 Years)

As children grow in confidence and mobility, the Seedlings room supports their natural drive to investigate and connect. Thoughtfully designed spaces invite little ones to explore textures, light, and nature, while educators gently guide emerging independence and social awareness. Every moment, from shared songs to messy play, is an opportunity for learning, joy, and connection.

Acorns

In the Acorns room, growing curiosity meets collaboration. Children begin to express their ideas, build friendships, and engage in meaningful projects. Our educators listen closely, respecting each child’s voice and encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression. The environment acts as a “third teacher,” offering open-ended materials and inviting children to explore big ideas through play. Daily opportunities to visit the Spinney alongside our outdoor Educator, John, are available all year round, encouraging connection with nature, hands-on exploration, and joyful outdoor learning in every season

Oaks

The Oaks room celebrates growing independence, imagination, and the joy of learning together. Children engage with open-ended, real-life materials that invite them to imagine, create, and problem-solve through meaningful play. Collaboration and teamwork are encouraged every day, helping children build empathy, resilience, and strong social connections. Daily forest school sessions in the Spinney with our outdoor Educator, John, offer rich opportunities for exploration and connection with nature. As the final step before school, we focus on nurturing confidence and self-help skills while developing secure foundations for early numeracy and literacy, through playful exploration of patterns, quantities, sounds, and language in real-world contexts.
